Print advertisement aimed at future applicants to the Illustration major at Ringling College of Art + Design.
- Each student was assigned a major within the ones offered here at Ringling College of Art + Design. I was assigned the Illustration major and then given the task to create a large-scale poster in order to promote the major and appeal to future applicants.Illustration students are true artists at heart. They're dreamers who doodled in the margins and weren't afraid to spill a little color on the page. Their art is expressive and can really be seen as escape from the real world. The poster strives to capture that wistful mood and hopefully entice high school students to apply to the college.Special thanks to fellow advertising alumni: Casey Ligon & Morgana Rees for the fabulous illustrations.
